Egan,
read
the
letter
to
the
cast and crew received from Dame Vera Lynn:
“Dear
440
Productions,
Regarding
your
invitation
for
the
performances
the
17th
or
18th
of
May
2004,
I
am
sorry
but
as
I
shall
be
in
France
at
that
time,
I
shall
not
be
able
to
accept.
Please
convey
my
regrets to all concerned.
I
have
spent
much
time
in
Canada
on
Concert
tours
and
have
always
had
a
great
time.
Will
you
tell
these
young
performers,
I
am
sorry
to
not
be
able
to
see
them
perform,
and
give
them
all
my
best
wishes.
