Brothers/Sisters Who Served - World War II
The following are clippings from various newspapers (Nova Scotia); and family collections.
Remembering World War II
Joe, Lester, Francis, and Edmund Surette served in the US Forces;
they are the sons of Louise and Enos Surette of Surette’s Island,
Yarmouth Co., NS. Lester was in the US Navy on a destroyer
during the Battle of Okinawa. All four survived the war.
