With the success of one video movie, 440 undertook a major video movie in 1998-1999, Beyond the Parade. This was a story of wartime experience beyond the formal parades of basic training at Canadian Infantry Basic Training Centre #60 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, the military camps in England, and the battlefields of Normandy. The movie explores the important memories that lie forever in the heart and mind of a veteran. The challenge was to re-create as many aspects of wartime as possible. The movie included the filming of barrack scenes, basic training and battle scenes, a wartime wedding, British pub scenes, and romantic scenes in different locations.
