Looking Back Ten Years 440 Productions (Wartime Heritage Association) Attends the 2004 Telegraphist Air Gunners Association Memorial Weekend Lee-On-Solent, UK After WWII, Lee-on-Solent was selected as the site for the Fleet Air Arm Memorial as it was the location of the large Naval Air Station HMS Daedelus. It is one of the lesser known Memorials in the UK, but remembers 1,925 men of the Fleet Air Arm who have no known grave, most of them having been lost at sea. The memorial is on Marine Parade West. The Lee-on-Solent Memorial is dedicated to the 1,400 Fleet Air Arm personnel of World War Two who have no known graves.

Sunday, May 16, 2004         Memorial Service  Lee-on-the-Solent Memorial Telegraphist Air Gunners Association  As part of the service the Chaplain at, HMS Sultan, reads out a list of the members of TAGA who had recently passed away, before a minutes silence is observed and wreaths laid at the memorial. After the Ceremony Cadets from HMS Sultan remove the chairs The Cast and Crew of  Time to Remember   Songs and Stories of the War Years Lee On Solent May 16, 2004 1925 names of Fleet Air Arm casualties of World War II with no known grave are listed on the memorial Wreaths of Remembrance  including the wreath presented on behalf of the people of Canada  by the Wartime heritage Association An opportunity to meet and talk with members of the Telegraphist Air Gunners Association after the Official Ceremony Following the Service members of the Wartime Heritage Association await the traditional fly-past. The local population of Lee-On-Solent, the Service Personnel of HMS Sultan,  former Telegraphist Air Gunners and their family members attend the Memorial Over the years Telegraphist Air Gunners from across the UK, and other Commonwealth countries  have attended the service. Members of the Wartime Heritage Association participated in the Ceremony and laid a wreath on behalf of the People of Canada A Telegraphist Air Gunner lays a wreath  in memory of those who died during World War II A Telegraphist Air Gunner  Remembers 18 members of Wartime Heritage attended the Memorial as part of the British Performance Tour 2004.  The Service is held each year on the third Sunday in May
