His siblings were Donald Russell Langille (1925-2001), Victor James Langille (1932- 1941), Margaret Elizabeth Langille Stolar (1935-1997), and Mary Gladys Langille Fulop (1938-2019). He died at Mosher’s Garage in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia the result of an automotive accident while travelling between Mulgrave and Halifax. A second soldier Rifleman Hugh Thorburn Spinney (Service Number F/30557), age 26, was also killed in the crash. He was the son of James and Margaret Spinney of Argyle Sound, Yarmouth Co., NS. Two other Rifleman, M.E. Dauphinee and R.E. Lane, survived the crash.
