Commemorated on page 270 of the Second World War Book of Remembrance Displayed in the Memorial Chamber of the Peace Tower in Ottawa on May 26 Private Brown was the son of Mrs. Clara Mae Brown of Springhill, NS. He went overseas arriving in the United Kingdom on June 24, 1943. He landed in France on June 6, 1944. He was killed in action on June 7, 1944.
