Commemorated on page 67 of the Second World War Book of Remembrance Displayed in the Memorial Chamber of the Peace Tower in Ottawa on February 15 James Warren Cullen was the son of Warren Elmo and Bessie Gladys Cullen. He was a student at Mt Allison University, New Brunswick prior to his enlistment. Flight Sergeant Cullen died on August 16, 1942 in No. 34 General Hospital, Freetown, West Africa from injuries sustained in a flying accident during training at RAF Hastings. His aircraft (Wellington MK IC No. HX/603) crashed and burned at take-off.
