Private Forrest Leon Freeman was the son of John B. and Charlotte Freeman of Shelburne Co., NS and
husband of Margaret Freeman, of Eastern Passage, Halifax Co., NS.
He served in Canada until October 14, 1944, in the United Kingdom between October 15, 1944 and
January 23, 1945, and in Italy from January 24, 1945 until his death. Private Freeman died February
25, 1945 of wounds received in action on February 24, 1945 while serving in Italy.
