  Paul Chisholm Layton was the son of Max MacDonald Layton and Florence C. Layton, of Great 
  Village, Colchester Co., NS.
  He was missing and presumed dead when HMCS Valleyfield was torpedoed and sunk by enemy 
  action in the Atlantic.
