Henry Boice Whitman Aircraftman 2nd Class R/252155 Royal Canadian Air Force April 29, 1924 Round Hill, Annapolis Co., NS April 15, 1943 Halifax, NS 18 July 2, 1943 19 Round Hill Cemetery (Annapolis Co., NS) Commemorated on page 226 of the Second World War Book of Remembrance Displayed in the Memorial Chamber of the Peace Tower in Ottawa on May 13 Henry Whitman was the son of Charles Bailey Whitman and Elsie Mary Whitman of Bridgetown, Annapolis Co., NS. While training at No. 5 Manning Depot RCAF Lachine, Quebec, Henry Whitman became seriously ill and was hospitalized at the Royal Victoria Hospital where he died on July 2, 1943.
