His siblings were Lydia Warren (1860–1884), Georgina Warren (b. 1864), Charles Willis Warren (1864- 1957), Abraham Warren (b. 1867), Sarah Elizabeth Warren (b. 1863), Cynthia Ann Warren (1869-1951), William Waren (b. 1871, Edith Pearl Warren (1873-1900), Herbert Warren (1873-1965), Judson Warren (b. 1877), and Harry Hampton Warren (b.1879). Some records document the surname as ‘Warne’. His older sister Cynthia married Charles Hantford Wescott (m. 1890) and they lived in Centreville, on Digby Neck. ‘Westcott’ is listed on his Merchant Navy record address, as “Westcott; Centreville, Digby County, Nova Scotia”. His age of death is recorded on the Merchant Navy record as 57. There is record in the New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S., Passenger Lists, (1813-1963) of Curtis arriving in the Port of New Orleans on November 27, 1919, from Liverpool, England aboard a ship known as the Jebba. There is also record in the California, U.S., Arriving Passenger and Crew Lists (1882-1959), that in 1927 and 1928 of a Curtis Warren serving aboard a ship, the SS Mina Brea, having been engaged since October 28, 1927. He is recorded as being 5 feet, 6 inches high. Curtis was serving aboard the SS Marconi in 1939. The Marconi was a British steam merchant ship registered in Liverpool, England. It was completed in February 1917 for Liverpool, Brazil & River Plate Ship Navigation Co (Lamport & Holt Ltd), of Liverpool. In 1937, it was sold to Marconi SS Co. (Kaye, Son & Co Ltd), of London. Able Seaman Curtis Warren died of a heart attack on December 15, 1939, while serving aboard the SS Marconi. He died while the ship was in Santos, Brazil. Able Seaman Warren has no known grave. The Marconi was sunk by U-98 on May 21, 1941.
