Henry Clinton Doane

He was married on July 23, 1898, at the age of 22, at Yarmouth, NS and was the father of Leslie John Doane (b. July 27, 1900). The Schooner F. W. Roebling suffered severe damage during the Halifax Explosion and the death of Henry Clinton Doane. Tombstone Inscription: “In loving memory. Henry C, Doane, Killed in Halifax Explosion, December 6, 1917”
