He had one sister Beatrice, living in Medford, Mass. US. He served in Canada Between September 7, 1939 and September 10, 1943, in the United Kingdom between September 11, 1943 and February 19, 1944 and in Italy from February 20, 1944 until the time of his death, September 18, 1944.
