Malcolm Beveridge was the son of George Albert Beveridge (1894-1974) and Matilda Trevelyn
(Newell) Beveridge (1903-1985) of Central Chebogue, Yarmouth Co. NS. He was the brother of
Richard Thomas (1926–2004), Wilfred Gordon (1930–1992) and George Albert (1920-1994) who
served as a radio operator in the Canadian Army. While stationed in France, he married Grace
Small (Private 1st Class) in the communal day room of the Women’s Air Corps, 9th Air Force of
which she was a member.
