The 13th name on the WWII list of the Yarmouth War Memorial Commemorated on page 59 of the Second World War Book of Remembrance Displayed in the Memorial Chamber of the Peace Tower in Ottawa on February 11 Charles was the son of Terence Charles and Madeline Ann Boudreau, of Wedgeport, Yarmouth Co., NS. He was employed for six years after leaving high school with the Nova Scotia Shipping Company, Lawrence Sweeney, Yarmouth as a sailor and engineer. He left that employment to join the services. He was killed on active service at Wellesbourne, Warwickshire, January 14, 1942 the result of a flying accident.
