The 82nd name on the WWII list of the Yarmouth War Memorial Commemorated on page 400 of the Second World War Book of Remembrance Displayed in the Memorial Chamber of the Peace Tower in Ottawa on August 27 Private Muise was the son of George Albert Muise (1873–1937) and Louisa Mary (Hatfield) Muise (1876–1954). He was one of seventeen children, with nine brothers and seven sisters. Three of his brothers, served during World War II. His brother, Victor Andrew Muise also died when he became ill while serving in France with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps. He served in Canada between October 28. 1939 and December 12, 1939, in England between December 22, 1939 and June 15, 1943 and in Italy from June 16, 1943 until his death.
