The 117th name on the WWII list of the Yarmouth War Memorial Commemorated on page 476 of the Second World War Book of Remembrance Displayed in the Memorial Chamber of the Peace Tower in Ottawa on October 11 Arnold White was the son of Clayton Ernest and Grace Carey White, of Kemptville, Yarmouth Co., Nova Scotia. He completed basic training as No. 60 Canadian Army Basic Training Center, Yarmouth between July 31, 1941 and October 15, 1941. He disembarked in the United Kingdom on March 9, 1942.
