8, 1917 and disembarked at Liverpool on the SS Megantic at Liverpool, England and was taken on strength at
Base Depot Canadian Forestry Corps at Sunningdale. He was posted to 114 Company and then to 105 Company
CFC serving in England.
On December 5, 1919 he departed England for Canada arriving at Halifax on December 14, 1919.
He was discharged at Halifax on April 1, 1919 on demobilization.
