Eugene Muise enlisted with the Nova Scotia Regiment, 1st Depot Battalion at Aldershot on May 21,
1918 where he completed training. He was discharged on January 14, 1919 having served in Canada.
Eugene Muise was the son of John (aka Jean à
Bibi) Muise and Rose Muise. He married Julie Frotten
on February 20, 1922. They had eleven children. At
discharge, Private Eugene Muise was living at 104 John
St., Reading, Mass. US. Eugene and Julie returned from
the United States to live in Quinan in 1928. Eugene
died in 1964.
His wife, Julie (Frotten) Muise (1899-2002)
remarried to Jerome Vacon on January 16, 1982 at
Quinan.
