Louis Murray enlisted in Victoria, BC and was taken on strength with No. 5 Royal Canadian Garrison
Artillery in Esquimalt, BC and transferred to the 68th Battery in Vancouver on April 9, 1918. From May 9, 1918
Gunner Murray was absent from service. A Court of Inquiry at Petawawa, Ontario reviewed his military record
and he was struck off strength on June 10, 1918.
