Wilson Trefry was the son of George and Alva Trefry of Springhaven, Yarmouth Co., NS.
Enlisting in Halifax in May, 1916 with the 4th Canadian Divisional Train, CASC, he embarked Canada on
the SS Olympic on June 28, 1916 and disembarked in England on July 5, 1916 and absorbed into Canadian
Army Service Corps Depot at Bramshott. He went overseas to France on August 11, 1916 and returned to
England on May 10, 1919. Returning to Canada in June, he was discharged on demobilization at Halifax on
June 21, 1919.
