Private Wallace MacPherson Betts was the son of Edgar Allen and Gladys Furlotte Betts of New Glasgow, Nova
Scotia and the husband of Mrs. Gladys Betts of Durham Centre, Restigouche County, New Brunswick.
He enlisted on 7 Feb 1947 in Brockville, Ontario, Canada. On 28 July 28, 1952, Private Wallace Betts died of
a heart attack while visiting his in-laws in Durham Center, New Brunswick.
