Private Clooney, the son of Mr. Garfield and Mrs. Elizabeth Clooney, Maple Grove, Hants Co.
NS, enlisted with the special force being recruited for service in Korea.
He was killed when the taxi in which he and a number of comrades in training were returning
to Camp Petawawa from Pembroke, collided with another vehicle on September 28, 1950. Private
Clooney died the following day.
