Corporal Earle MacAskill was the son of John and Agnes (MacDonald) MacAskill of Nova Scotia and the
husband of Elizabeth Margaret (Marshall) MacAskill.
Corporal MacAskill was killed during a Mortar Accident at C Coy HQ 2 PPCLI, alongside Private Leo
Gladu and Private Frederick George Works.
