Corproal MacLean was the son of Allan and Bertha (Spencer) MacLean of Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia
and the husband of Ethel Marion (MacCabe) MacLean.
He was killed in action during an attack by enemy forces at Hill 187, South Korea.
