Private Patrick was the son of William and Marjorie Patrick of Bridgeville, Nova Scotia, and husband of
Mary Emma Patrick of Springfield, Nova Scotia.
Private Ross Reginald Patrick, 1 PPCLI died of accidental death. A soldier of 2 Section, 7 Platoon was
cleaning his weapon and it discharged. Private Patrick, who was standing 12 feet away died immediately.
