Private Royles, the son of Herbert and Olive Ellen Royles, Hants Co., Nova Scotia, enlisted with
the special force being recruited for service in Korea.
He was killed when the taxi in which he and a number of comrades in training were returning to
Camp Petawawa from Pembroke, collided with another vehicle.
