Ralph Elvin Turnbull was the son of Roderick Martin Turnbull (1892-1936) and Mary Elizabeth (McAloney)
Turnbull (1890-1932) of Springhill, Nova Scotia.
Ralph Turnbull enlisted on April 27, 1942 and served with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps during
WWII. During the Korean War he served with the The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) of Canada.
He died of gunshot wounds on January 1, 1954 in South Korea.
He is buried in the United Nations Cemetery (Busan) South Korea.
